Brevard Federated Republican Women is dedicated to the education and promotion of Republican ideas and to the election of Republicans. We support our Republican candidates and elected officials by holding candidate forums and debates, advocating for local and state elections, advocating for local and state legislation, and helping with campaigns.
We market Republican beliefs and ideals through our website, and Facebook and Twitter, as well as through monthly newsletters. At last year's annual membership reception, we welcomed Florida First Lady Ann Scott as our guest speaker. We also hold monthly luncheon meetings featuring speakers on Republican and conservative thought, and we participate in numerous community outreach programs.
We are great caregivers for America through our support of various military, veteran and disabled veteran causes, and we host a biennial Honor the Veterans and Military fundraiser auction and dinner. We donate books to local libraries and to the Governor’s Mansion, provide pocket Constitutions to local middle and high schools, and have distributed more than 3,600 dictionaries to third grade students in Brevard County. We contribute to the NFRW scholarship and internship programs, in addition to creating our own Lillian Banks Memorial Scholarship.
These are just a few of the things our club does throughout the year. Our goal through 2016 is to "Paint the State of Florida and the Nation Red!"
