Cobb County Republican Women's Club
For the last 51 years, Cobb County Republican Women’s Club (CCRWC) of Marietta, Ga., has diligently worked to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and its principles and ideals, and to educate members on a variety of issues.
A recipient of the diamond-level NFRW Club Achievement Award, CCRWC is routinely involved in numerous activities and initiatives that support our Republican Party. Some of these initiatives include hosting an annual sold-out inspirational Veterans Celebration Brunch, coordinating and delivering U.S. Constitutions on Constitution Day to local fifth-grade students, offering a campaign management workshop, and providing four $1,000 scholarships to deserving female college students.
Last year CCRWC members delivered 5,500 Constitutions to students at public and private schools within Cobb County and initiated coordination of this program in 35 counties statewide. In addition, CCRWC successfully hosted five well-attended televised forums for candidates who were running for office to represent voters within Cobb County.
Each year, CCRWC supports Caring for America initiatives. In 2014, CCRWC provided more than $5,300 in financial support to numerous local non-profit organizations, including many that support our military and veterans. Monthly luncheon programs provide opportunities for networking and learning from elected officials, business leaders, and others about economic, political, and social issues.
CCRWC members are politically active in the county and state GOP and have served as campaign volunteers for Republican candidates and officeholders.
CCRWC continually strives to make a difference within the GOP, as evidenced by its emphasis on educating and multi-level communications.
