Federated Republican Women of Lafayette County
Federated Republican Women of Lafayette County was organized in 1931 and has 43 members. We meet monthly, March through October, at the historic Lafayette County Hall in Lexington. Meetings are publicized and open to the public.
Our club is dedicated to promoting the Republican message and helping to elect Republican candidates on all levels through club functions, membership development, programs, campaign activities and community relations. We have a strong presence in Lafayette County, the Fifth Congressional District, the Missouri FRW and the Missouri Republican Party.
Through one of our ongoing projects, we donate books annually to one of the county schools. The books are chosen from the NFRW’s Mamie Eisenhower Library Project book list and donated on a rotation basis. Notice of the donation, along with a photo, is sent out in a news release, and all the papers in the county run the story.
