FRANCES TAYLOR of Alabama
Slated Position: NFRW Secretary
Frances Taylor is from Huntsville, Alabama where she served as president of the Alabama Federation of Republican Women (AFRW) from 2014-2017. She has held almost every position within the AFRW. She served as a member of the Steering and Financial Oversight Committees for the Alabama Republican Party. Frances is a member of the State Executive Committee and local County Party where she is on the Policy Committee and heads the Candidate Recruitment Committee.
She has a long history of service to the Republican Party starting as the county co-chair for Reagan-Bush and as the Alabama Federation of Young Republican’s National Committeewoman and Vice-Chair. Since then she has served in many roles for both the AFRW and the state party.
Among her civic duties, she is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind, board member for the American Cancer Society’s Summer Lights Gala and a Stephen’s Minister at her Church.
Frances uses her secret security clearance as a defense contractor for AMCOM on Redstone Arsenal where she does financial and process analysis for various weapon systems. Work has taken her from Pearl Harbor to RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall in England. She is passionate about helping to secure the defenses of the United States of America.
Included among her awards are being selected as an Outstanding Young Woman of America and Dun & Bradstreet’s Employee of the Year.
A graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College with a degree in History, she and her husband of over 37 years, have four children who have scattered their education across the Southeastern Conference from Auburn, to Alabama, to LSU. There’s never a dull moment during football season at her house.
Helping run a business and raising four children drives her commitment for leaner and more conservative government.
