PHOENIX, Ariz. – Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will address the 38th biennial convention of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 12. The NFRW convention, which is expected to draw about 1,300 Republican women leaders from across the nation, is set for Sept. 10-13 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Ariz.
The NFRW is inviting Republican presidential candidates to address the convention and earlier this month announced Carly Fiorina as the headline speaker at the convention opening. National pollster Kellyanne Conway and the polling company will conduct the NFRW presidential straw poll during the event.
Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
