JoAnn Parker was elected NFRW treasurer at the Spring Board of Directors Meeting in March 2016. She is the director of NFRW Region 7, which includes Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Virginia and West Virginia.
JoAnn previously served as NFRW member-at-large. She has been a Capitol Regent since 2014 and served on the NFRW Nominating Committee in 2015. As chair of the NFRW Fundraising Committee in 2014-2015, she introduced several new and unique products to the online shopping cart. In addition, she led in developing a software program to capture and archive needed information from booth sales for IRS reporting purposes.
JoAnn has served as treasurer of the Louisiana FRW since 2013. She was the founding treasurer of Bayou Teche Republican Women and was instrumental in planning two fundraising events grossing more than $50,000.
JoAnn has served on the Terrebonne Parish Republican Executive Committee and currently serves on the Iberia Parish Republican Executive Committee. She has been active in local, state and national political activities.
JoAnn has devoted a life-time of service to civic and charitable organizations. She has served as Stewardship chair of her local church and is on the Advisory Committee of the BCM at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She serves as vice president of the Iberia Pregnancy Resource Center.
Previously, JoAnn served as the CFO of Helping Hands International, an international humanitarian aid organization serving Ukraine. During her five-year term, this organization sent more than $25 million in food, clothing, hospital equipment and medicine to the southeastern region of Ukraine.
JoAnn is CFO of three businesses: Pro-Log, Inc., an oilfield services company; Solimar EE, LLC, an exotic and endangered game ranch in East Texas; and, Chocolate Bayou, LLC, a gourmet candy company. She was named to "Who’s Who in Leading American Businesswomen" and inducted into the Carthage ISD Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.
JoAnn and her husband, Tom, have been married 50 years and have three daughters and eight grandchildren.
