
Trula M. Jamison was born and raised in Clarinda, Iowa. She received
a BA degree from Concordia University, Seward, Neb. She is President
of Kirtron Inc., a commercial real estate company, and with her
husband, Kirk, built and operated three Casey’s General Stores in
Nebraska. Currently, she is employed part-time for Bright Lights, a
summer enrichment program for children. She formerly taught school
in Ames, Iowa; Ottumwa, Iowa; and, Omaha, Neb.
Trula currently serves as President of the Nebraska FRW and has been
a member for more than 30 years. She also has served as 1st Vice
President and on numerous committees. She is a longtime member of
the Cornhusker Republican Women’s Club in Lincoln, where she has
held the offices of President, Vice President and Secretary, and has
served on and chaired many committees.
Trula serves as Vice President of Concordia University’s Foundation
Board of Directors, and has served as President of the Concordia
University Alumni Council.
Active in her church, Messiah Lutheran Church and School, she has
served in leadership positions on numerous boards and committees,
and has taught Sunday School for both children and adults.
An avid golfer, Trula has been active in Hillcrest Country Club’s
Women’s Golf Association, where, in addition to other positions, she
has served as Chairman.
Trula has served as a delegate to the Lancaster County Republican
convention for many years. Trula and husband of 40 years, Kirk, have
three grown sons.

The Nebraska Federation affiliated with the NFRW in 1956. The Hon. Hazel Abel, U.S. senator from Nebraska in 1954, became acquainted with NFRW officers and was encouraged to begin organizing Republican women's clubs in Nebraska. She served as the founding president.
The main objectives of the Nebraska Federation are to promote an informed public through political education and activity, increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government, foster loyalty to and promote the principles of the Republican Party, and elect Republicans in the state.
