Judy has been interested in politics since high school. She has
volunteered on many campaigns.
In 1999 she attended the NFRW National Convention in Seattle even
though she was not a delegate. This experience inspired her to
return home, contact former members and reactivate the Walla Walla
County Republican Women’s Club. She served as its president for four
years. During this time she began to regularly attend WFRW meetings
and became District Director for the Eastern part of the state. She
was subsequently elected WFRW’s 3rd Vice President in charge of
Fundraising. Then she was elected as 1st Vice President in charge of
Programs for 2005-2006.
At home in Walla Walla she is involved with the local Walla Walla
Community College Rodeo that raises money to help prevent child
abuse in her area. She is also active in local politics.
Her focus as president is increasing membership so her state will
have the grassroots organization it needs to help elect Republicans.

The Washington Federation was founded in 1944 and affiliated with
the National Federation in 1945. WFRW is organized into nine regions
and has 42 clubs. Della Urquart was the founding president.
Members participate in campaigns across the state, raise money for
candidates, and provide services to their communities.
