Ginny Marschman was re-elected President of the Wisconsin Federation
of Republican Women at the WFRW 66th Biennial Convention in Kenosha,
Wisconsin, in 2007. Positions she has held within the WFRW
include Secretary, District Chairman, First Vice-President and

for staying involved is President George W. Bush!"
Some of Ginny's volunteer and staff positions include: Candidate for
State Assembly, Office Manager for Governor Tommy G. Thompson's
reelection campaign, incorporating and serving as State Chairman for
Wisconsin Christian Coalition, 1993, serving on Wisconsin's Steering
Committee for Bush/Cheney in 2004 and member of the State Grassroots
Committee for Bush/Cheney both in 2000 and 2004, Republican National
Committee - Political Staff for 2004 Evangelical Outreach in
Wisconsin and Victory 2000 Wisconsin Staff for the RNC for Social
Conservative Outreach.
Other rewarding experiences of her "political life" include
attending the Republican conventions in San Diego, Philadelphia and
New York, voting for George W. Bush as the Republican nominee in
2000 and 2004, receiving the 2003 Alvan E. Bovay Award, driving in
President Reagan's motorcade, taking a private tour of the Reagan
Ranch and receiving three invitations to the White House from
President Bush and Mrs. Bush.
Ginny teaches a "C.O.O.L Kids" Sunday school class and volunteered
for the Salvation Army Homeless Program. She and her husband have 3

Local clubs in Wisconsin were organized prior to 1930 in Marathon, Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. During the early 1930s, clubs were formed in Kenosha, Manitowoc and Two Rivers, and a Republican State Organization of Women was officially established. Jenny Thomas of Sheboygan served as the first president, and the first convention was held in 1936. With 1,124 members in 43 counties, the state organization affiliated with the NFRW in 1940.
Today, the Wisconsin Federation is divided into eight districts and has 26 clubs with more than 1,100 members. It provides volunteers for local campaigns and, as the education arm of the Republican Party in the state, instructs its members in campaign techniques for use in electing Republicans to public office. Members participate in get-out-the-vote efforts and postcard campaigns, and provide community service through assistance to hospitals, women's shelters, the Historical Society and the American Cancer Society.
