Suffrage History Comes Alive in Ohio
Western Reserve Women’s Republican Club - South Chagrin, celebrated Ohio's ratification of the 19th Amendment in style this past Flag Day.
Dressed like suffragists, participants enjoyed the salad lunch and program. The Chagrin Falls Historical Society and the Lake County Historical Society gave interesting and humorous programs. Media captured some of the women (and males, too) demonstrating on the sidewalk in “suffragist style.”
