Recruitment Meeting Features State Superintendent
Pee Dee Republican Women of South Carolina hosted its second recruitment meeting on March 26 at the Floyd Conference Center. The speaker for the evening was Molly Spearman, South Carolina State Superintendent of Education.
Mrs. Spearman addressed important pending legislation in the South Carolina House and Senate that would positively impact the quality of education in South Carolina K-12 schools. She urged all members and guests to continue to support the efforts to bring South Carolina schools to the forefront nationally. Attendees were also provided a brief overview of the Take Back Our Republic Campaign which has recently begun in the state of South Carolina.
Twenty-four prospective members attended this event along with 20 club members. Guests were provided an overview of the history, goals, and activities of the Pee Dee Republican Women’s Club. Each guest and member also received the book, Taxation Only With Representation, and a small token of appreciation for attending the meeting. The club looks forward to officially welcoming the new members at the April meeting.
