Supporting West Coast's Oldest Women's Shelter

For six years, Capitol City Republican Women of Salem, Oregon, has presented 350 pairs of underwear to the Simonka Place Women’s Shelter in nearby Keizer, Oregon. Simonka Place is the oldest all-women’s shelter on the West Coast and celebrated 50 years in 2018.

Each year, the club "passes the hat" at its Christmas tea. The shelter says this gift lasts most of the year.

CCRW members are happy to bring joy to the women at the shelter.
