Partnering to provide the 2nd Safe Haven Box in Arkansas
Benton County Republican Women of Arkansas partnered with the Fleming family, Goldfish Swim School, State Senator Cecile Bledsoe and Rogers Fire Department to provide Arkansas’ 2ndSafe Haven Box at the Rogers Fire Station #5. The Box went live, Friday, March 12.
Dedication Speakers included: Monica Kelsey, Founder/CEO Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Cecile Bledsoe, Arkansas State Senator, Renona Crowden, President of Benton County Republican Women, Wade Fleming, owner Goldfish Swim School, Tom Jenkins, Rogers Fire Chief and Dr. Thomas Hatley, Head Pastor, Immanuel Baptist Church.
This was the 60th Safe Haven Baby Box in the nation. Safe Haven Baby Boxes Inc. is a non-profit founded by firefighter/medic Monica Kelsey. (Kelsey was abandoned as an infant and is committed to ending illegal infant abandonment in the country). Numerous lives have been saved through these boxes.
