Club Supports Local USO Center with Drive

In April we collected personal care items from members and the community. We had a collection box at our local library.

Items were requested so the USO Director could create care packages for soldiers stranded at airports.

We presented the items to Central Texas Executive Director Isabell Hubbard on April 22.

Our efforts were featured in the local newspaper.

USO Project: Salado Area Republican Women collected personal care items for soldiers at their meetings and in the community through a deposit box at their local library the month of April. The items were given to the USO Regional Director, Isabel Hubbard, at the April 22, 2021 meeting. She will be making up individual care packets for soldier stranded at airports.
