Club Hosts 2nd Annual Turkey Gobbler Day

On November 20, Republican Women’s Club of Columbia & Rensselaer Counties, New York, gathered at Four Brothers in Valatie to prepare Turkey Gobbler sandwiches for the community to raise funds for free Veterans breakfasts in 2022. Sandwiches were free for all veterans.

Over 200 sandwiches were handed out and included oven-roasted turkey, homemade stuffing, mayo, cranberry sauce and gravy on a bun. The club also took orders for Thanksgiving pies and cheesecakes made by club members.

To our veterans, thank you for your service and sacrifice. From the beginning, the club's goal has been to thank veterans for their service and support them when in need. The club has purchased meals, household items and food and advocates for after-care support for veterans and their families when returning from service.
