Club Raises More Than $20,000 for Its PAC
Umpqua Valley Republican Women of Roseburg, Oregon, raised over $20,000 for its political action committee.
Roseburg County Club was the setting for Umpqua Valley RW's President's Dinner. Over 60 people attended and many participated in an oral auction and then a frenzy which netted over $20,000 for future campaigns of Republican candidates.
Dignitaries in attendance were state Rep. Virgle Osborn and state Sen. David Brock Smith.
UVRW is the home club of Oregon FRW President Christine Morgan. Morgan was also honored at the dinner as her hometown of Canyonville's newly-elected mayor. Her husband, Steve, was elected as a city councilman.
