Clubs Work Together on State Caring for America Project

Phelps County Republican Women's Club and Meramec Republican Women of Missouri worked together to meet one of their 2023 Caring for America Projects by providing Birthday Wish Giftbags for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) children.

A Birthday Wish Giftbag consists of things you would need for a birthday party and that many foster families cannot readily afford, such as cake mix, icing, party supplies, candles, and of course a gift, totaling approximately $55 or more. The local clubs had a terrific time bringing in the supplies, providing the funds and assembling the bags to complete 11 Birthday Wish Giftbags and a large assortment of additional party supplies.
