Club Hosts Red, White and Bundled Baby Shower
At our September meeting, Brunswick County Republican Women of North Carolina hosted its annual baby shower, "Red, White and Bundled," for the benefit of the Susan Tillis Foundation. Members collected and donated handmade baby blankets, sweaters, hats and handmade toys, as well as new baby gifts, clothing, toys and diapers.
The Susan Tillis Foundation prepares baby bundles to give new military families for their newborns at Fort Liberty, N.C., (formally Fort Bragg). To date, BCRW has donated hundreds of gifts for the troops.
