Club Celebrates Successful 2023 Toys for Tots Program
Onslow County Republican Women of North Carolina recently celebrated notable success for the club's 2023 Toys for Tots collection. The members solicited cooperation from over 3 dozen retailers across the county. Then they took responsibility for the installation of the collection boxes, the mounting of Toys for Tots posters, the weekly visits to the establishments to gather the toys, and the management of posting collection sites on the club’s website and Facebook page.
Thanks to the generosity of the county’s residents, the 2023 collection generated a record-breaking yield. U.S. Marine reservists were guests at the club’s December 2nd Christmas Dinner, they took possession of the bounty.
