Club Raises More Than $12,000 in President's Day Scholarship Fundraiser
Republican Women of Wickenburg (RWOW), Arizona, hosted its second annual President's Day dinner and live auction scholarship fundraiser on February 16. There was lots of excitement as local residents, honored guests and dignitaries gathered to enjoy good food, fellowship and raise money for scholarships to support local students' continuing education. The enthusiasm of the evening paid huge dividends, as we raised more than $12,000 for our scholarship fund.
The keynote speaker for the evening was Maricopa County Attorney, the Hon. Rachel Mitchell, with U.S. Senate candidate, Sheriff Mark Lamb and author Floyd Brown as guest speakers. Other honored guests were our mistress of ceremonies, the Hon. Rae Chornenky, state Sen. Sonny Borelli, LD 30 Rep. Leo Biasaucci, Hassayampa Constable Scott Blake, state Sen. candidates Hildy Angius and Kimberly Zanon, Maricopa County Sheriff candidates Jerry Sheridan and Mike Crawford, and Corporation Commission candidate Rachel Walden.
