Club Shares Holiday Cheer with Veterans
Under the leadership of President Sue Davis, Armed Services Chair Valerie Ellis and a supportive Board of Directors, Republican Women of Prescott supports Adopt a Platoon by sending $1,540 so the organization can continue to send care packages throughout the year. In addition, RWOP members addressed over 900 holiday cards for mailing overseas with the care packages this month.
Once again, RWOP is supporting Wreaths Across America by donating $1,700 for 100 wreaths that will be placed at the Prescott National Cemetery in mid December. Volunteers place wreaths on each marker of a fallen hero. RWOP is pleased to donate to this cause every year.
