Club Presents Warm Socks to Family Services of Tulare County

As we head into the chilly winter months, Visalia Republican Women Federated donated 1,034 pairs of warm, new socks for all ages to Family Services of Tulare County.

The mission of Family Services is to help children, adults and families heal from violence and thrive in healthy relationships. Socks were collected at the August, September, October and November general meetings held at the Visalia Country Club. The presentation to Family Services was made by Caring for Committee Chair Ellen Woitalla and active committee members on November 26.

The warehouse manager, Brian Peter, expressed deep gratitude for this generous gift of warmth.
