Club Welcomes Former NFRW President for Program on Leadership
Chevy Chase Women's Republican Club's theme for March 2025 was “Leadership.” Club members started the month by participating in Maryland FRW’s annual Red Scarf Day in Annapolis, the state capital, meeting with Republican state senators and delegates. The month concluded with a general meeting, "Coffee & Conversation," echoing the leadership theme. Former NFRW President Ann Schockett led the group in an interesting and inspiring discussion of how we can become leaders in our community. Ann’s remarks and thoughtful answers to the questions posed by members of the audience kept the attendees engaged and energized to take action to promote our Republican values.
The largest club in Montgomery County, Maryland, CCWRC is a dynamic and very politically active club. Its membership and board includes former White House and congressional staff, present and former Republican Central Committee members, and present and former business leaders. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, and vary from morning to lunchtime to evening in order to provide a variety of options to fit women’s busy schedules. https://ccwrc.club
