Members Volunteer at D-Day Event
On June 5, members of Davidson County Republican Women of North Carolina joined more than 100 other volunteers in serving veterans and their families -- including 63 World War II veterans -- at the Richard Childress Racing Event Center in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The event was organized by Richard Childress. A monthly veterans coffee breakfast is held at the same venue.
