Donations to First Responders
The Montgomery County Republican Women (Texas) Caring for America Committee is helping first responders in the community, and it couldn't be done without the funds provided from membership dues.
On April 2, the committee delivered "thank you" letters and family meal packs from the Black Walnut to Fire Chief Raymond Flannelly. Chief Flannelly dispersed these to firemen at four fire stations in Montgomery County, one which services River Plantation. The men were appreciative.
The local fire departments are also in need of these items: bottled water, Gatorade, N95 masks, Lysol, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, snacks, paper medical gowns, dish soap, Clorox wipes, paper towels, and board games.
To help collect these items for the firemen, please contact Doris Golemon at golemon2020@gmail.com. She will make arrangements for pick up.
