Club Introduces New Tradition With Political Portraits
Dona Ana County FRW of New Mexico has introduced a light-hearted element to their club meetings to help ease the heavy political climate looming over our state and nation.
Club President Shona Neff is wielding her thick-point black Sharpie and using her skills (or lack thereof) to draw portraits of candidate speakers and unveil them at the club's monthly luncheons. The protraits draw chuckles from the speakers and entertain the ladies. Our good-natured guests autograph their images. Who knows, maybe the pictures will be worth thousands of dollars one of these days. The portraits will become a permanent fixture in the the club's scrapbook.
