Club Co-Hosts Pancake Breakfast for Local Public Safety
Greater Fayette Republican Women's Club of Georgia recently co-hosted a pancake breakfast to honor the local public safety to include police and sheriff's departments, firefighters, EMS, and 911 call center personnel.
More that 150 pancake breakfasts were served to personnel in-person, and additional breakfasts were delivered to the stations.
The event was co-hosted with the Fayette County Republican Party and included speakers from several of the departments, including Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb, Fayette County Fire Chief Jeffrey Hill; and, Fayetteville Police Chief Scott Gray. Georgia state Sen. Marty Harbin and Reps. Josh Bonner and Karen Mathiak also spoke to honor those who serve Fayette County.
Club members worked as volunteer cooks, servers, and clean up. They also volunteered to deliver the pancakes to personnel who couldn't come in person.
