Washington Federation of Republican Women's Fall Board of Directors Meeting and Biennial Convention was held November 18-19 in Lynnwood. Women from clubs across the state were in attendance. It was educational and inspirational with many friendships formed and renewed.
Members enjoyed the following presentations:
- “Selection Code,” follow up on “2000 Mules,” presented by Sharon Hanek, WFRW 1st VP
- Panel discussion on Voter Integrity with Bill Bruch, Skagit County GOP Chair, and Glen Morgan of We the Governed
- Real Justice with Brad Dacus, President & Founder, Pacific Justice Institute
The dinner included an auction and keynote speaker Todd Myers, Environmental Director for the Washington Policy Center. He talked about his new book, "Time to Think Small," and how technological innovation mitigates climate risk better than politicians.
The highlight of the weekend was the Board of Directors meeting and luncheon with NFRW President Eileen Sobjack as guest speaker. Election of officers for 2023-24 was also held with installation by President Sobjack.
