The North Carolina Federation of Republican Women held its annual Legislative Day in Raleigh on April 18 with 70 members attending. One highlight was meeting Rep. Tricia Cotham, who made news recently when she switched parties, became a Republican, and gave us a super-majority.
The ladies had a working lunch with Superintendent of Public Instruction Catherine Truitt, and then were off to the new majority (5-2 Republican) North Carolina Supreme Court where Justices Tamara Barringer and Trey Allen expressed thanks for our election efforts and explained their court's operation.
