From NFRW President Julie Harris
Mark Cuban’s comment about President Trump not surrounding himself with strong, intelligent women is insulting to the millions of women who support President Trump, including the 60,000 members of the NFRW.
The Democrats further insult women with a Kamala commercial that portrays an antiquated and demeaning view of women secretly casting their votes and hiding their beliefs from their husbands. This is not only offensive, but also it undermines decades of progress since the ratification of the 19th Amendment. The NFRW rejects any suggestion that women should conceal their political convictions – particularly from their own families.
Women are capable of being bold leaders, informed voters, and strong advocates for their beliefs. NFRW encourages all women to participate fully and openly in the political process. The notion that women must suppress their political views or vote in the shadows is insulting to all American women.
As America’s largest and longest-running Republican women’s grassroots organization, the NFRW stands proudly in our convictions.
We are not silent. We are not hidden. We are a part of shaping the future of our nation.
