Club Raises Money to Place Wreaths at Local Cemetery

As part of Wreaths Across America, the Natrona County Republican Women of Casper, WY, raised money to buy a wreath for every grave in Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery (the only veterans cemetery in Wyoming). It is the first time in history that a wreath was placed on all 3,000 graves. Congresswoman Liz Cheney, members of the Civil Air Patrol, Patriot Riders, American Legion, Boys Scouts, Girl Scouts, KW Deca, NC ROTC, and many others participated in the ceremony.

The NFRW Armed Services Committee has chosen Wreaths Across America as our fall project. Each wreath purchased honors all servicemen and women for their selfless sacrifice. We encourage you to participate in the laying of the wreaths to honor our Veterans during this holiday season by purchasing a wreath. This December 17, 2016, is the 25th anniversary of the placing of the wreaths.
