Memorial Day traditionally marks the start of summer in the United States. But how much do you know about this holiday? Do you know its meaning? Its history? How about its traditions?

During the month of May, we honor the sacrifices and service of our U.S. military members.

Kellyanne Conway will be our keynote speaker at our July 8 luncheon.  She will speak about her recently released book, "Here's the Deal."

Armed Forces Day is the proper day to honor all of the men and women currently serving as well as those who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedom.  It recognizes the men and women serving in the Active, Reserve, and National Guard components of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and Space Force. 

During the Spring Board Meeting, the Washington Federation of Republican Women honored founder Della Urquhart with an inaugural scholarship program. Two annual scholarships will be awarded to conservative college undergraduate women who are currently majoring in political science, government or economics and are residents of Washington State.
