I worked in the private sector for 45 years, and the private companies I worked for provided vacation and sick leave time that was fair, adequate and increased gradually over time, based on how many years I stayed with the particular company.

If our federal government demands that private companies provide its employees with Paid Family Leave, those companies are going to look to the federal government to subsidize them, or they won’t be able to meet their financial bottom line. In order to pay for that, EVERYONE’s federal taxes will go UP.

Absolutely Nothing is for FREE! All American taxpayers will end up paying for Paid Family Leave. It’s basically another Huge government entitlement program, and it will make Americans feel MORE entitled and Dependent upon our federal government. I believe this is exactly the wrong direction for our country and it will eventually bankrupt our federal government.

Do we want the USA to look like France, where its citizens are spoiled, entitled and RIOT in the French streets, demanding that their government not cut ANY of their leave and working benefits? No thank you to Paid Family Leave!

I think all choices were top priority. On infrastructure I do wish that a USA infrastructure bank would be the vehicle that would be used. I am concerned that a lot of infrastructure would be done that would benefit Mexico.
