Especially in the current political climate such a called ConCon can get wildly out of control and wrong things happen. Just FOLLOW our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I do not believe that we need further amendments to the Constitution, especially when current protections are ignored, particularly those in the Bill of Rights.

Freedom of speech is unquestionably permitted, but only if you're a progressive. Republicans may be fired from their jobs for making a statement contrary to progressive thought, even something that was recently non-controversial, such as saying that there are only two genders or that patriotism is a good thing.

Then there's the second amendment. Who can claim that the right to bear arms is "not infringed" by the government? The Fourth Amendment went by the wayside when the FBI confiscated papers from the office of Trump's attorney; or when those associated with Trump's campaign were arrested and again when those within the Trump administration had their homes raided and were arrested by the FBI while CNN cameras just happened to be present in the wee hours of the morning to film the event.

The 6th amendment promises arrestees "an impartial jury of the State." Yet we have trial and conviction by the media before any trial by the State. Even if found to be innocent, the media continues to declare some guilty as charged.

The 8th protects us from excessive bail, but we are ALL threatened when there is NO bail. Even the 10th no longer applies as the federal government usurps more and more power from the states and the individual. The Build Back Better Act is a shining example of such.

Don't pass more amendments; just enforce the amendments we already have. When Wit comes to protecting our freedom, the Founding Fathers were brilliant. All we have to do is actually listen to their words.

No convention of states. I have seen parliamentary procedure steal several conventions

If a Constitutional Convention is call, it is my understand that all of the Constitution has the possibility of being changed. Very dangerous possibility.
