Why can't we just go back to the way it was originally? Why does DST have to exist? I fully support not having to switch back and forth every year, but would prefer the "original" time instead.

I think this was a very insignificant issue for the Congress right now. During these troubled times, the House and Senate should be devoting their time to much more important causes - FOR starters - Our Economy!

I support ending of switching back and forth. But why settle on daylight time? They should have made it standard time.

It's time for a time change but not to daylight savings time...standard time makes more sense.

This is unbelievable. There is what looks like an invasion at our border. Food prices and gas prices are climbing, daily. The DOJ is calling concerned parents domestic terrorists. Spending in Congress is out of control, and the only thing they are worried about is changing clocks? How about focusing on the real problems.

Although it's been many years, I still remember when my small children stood at the bus stop in the semi-darkness during the Winter months. If we had permanent DST, they would have been waiting for the bus in total darkness. This is a matter of safety. It is not particularly difficult to change our clocks twice a year, so I would prefer to leave it as it is now. But if we insist on making a change, I'd prefer to be on Standard time year-round.

With so many important issues happening around our nation and the world, why would we feel like it is so important to make a decision on DST? This is just a distraction to create the illusion that our government is actually accomplishing something.

I think they should make the permanent time Standard Time. Not Daylight Savings Time. That is a "made up" time that was enacted in 1966. Not all of the United States recognizes this function. It's bad enough you have to figure the time zones and then calculate DST adjustments. Unnecessary.

I would prefer that we keep Standard time. Either end (AM or PM) you still have darkness. If we had permanent DST, children will be waiting for the school bus in total darkness. People adapt. A few minutes of light difference isn't a big deal

Yes, I do support this vote. I introduced it as a resolution to our Tx platform. I think it was 2016 or 2018. as a delegate. It was noted as 2 or 3 links for documentation on why it needs to be changed.

I must be tired tonight after a long week of going thru resolutions with our committee for the current 2022 resolutions for district convention. Leave it one way or the other but not for changing.

Living in Southern New Mexico, Las Cruces, is sometimes a challenge. We are Mountain Time, Tucson AZ which is only 4 hours away does not change time. El Paso, Texas , same time zone as NM, one hour away. But, once you pass El Paso, the time zone changes again. Pick a time, make everyone the same. Move on.

Let's have standard time forever and always.

I prefer staying on "God's Time" throughout the year, but the changes twice each year have been proven to be dangerous. As long as we can stop doing Spring Forward/Fall Back, I will accept the decision.

NO!! This would mean that school children are catching the bus in the dark for most of the school year. The sun wouldn't come up until about 9 am in December. Are we so focused on having fun in the evening hours that we have to do this? I'd prefer to stay on Standard Time year-round rather than full-time Daylight time.

Year round STANDARD TIME is much safer for the kids going to school in the wee hours.

With more pressing issues like strict voter reform laws, this issue was a distraction and should've been put on the back burner for now.

Let's stop this twice-yearly practice of changing the clocks but remain on STANDARD TIME all year. Listen to the medical professionals who have voiced valid concerns about the effects of adopting daylight savings time all year long.

I support the US Senate Bill to make Daylight Savings time permanent.

When I got into college, I was already aware of an oxessays service. It had my back many times even at high school when I chose real life over staying at home and writing another essay. I know that I need a degree but writing essays will hardly affect my career.

I still want to keep the standard time, I'm so tired of going back and forth. Furthermore, if you do that, everything will be turned upside down
