I'm not sure about ,limiting the Supreme Court justices to term limits but we definitely need to have term limits on CONGRESSIONAL members. Perhaps then they wouldn't be always out campaigning once more for their office in perpetuity.

I would much prefer to set term limits for congress. We need to get rid of the embedded crooks who have been selling out the American people for decades in order to become millionaires themselves, as well as their extended families. JOE BIDEN and Nancy Pelosi are prime examples. Of course, the majority in the Senate and House are too corrupt to even think about voluntarily cutting off their endless source of money via backroom "pork" deals, "pay to play" access for shady businesses, and insider trader information. The currrent situation in Washington sickens me.

Perhaps an age retirement 75-80. Definitely need limitation of 4 terms for house and 2 terms for senate.

Along same line presidential appointments of any kind need 10 year term limits.

What can we enact to stop the above mentioned elected or appointed persons (after leaving )working in any capacity to influence agencies or congress? It is more than a swamp, more like Crater Lake.

What I'm NOT in favor of is packing the court - let's stay vigilant. Also, keeping the conservatives we've got there - any updates on support of Thomas against this petition from the far left that has millions of signatures? First, I would prefer term limits for Congress.

If the Supreme Court Justices were to have term limits, it should be for a longer term than 4 yrs so that experience can be accomplished and shared. Also, the rollover should be in steps/only a part of the Justices changing in the same year/ so that there are always experienced justices in the Court.

While I would support a term limit, I would rather see an age limit for all the federal government; Judicial, Congressional, Senatorial, and Presidential. People over the age of 75 should not be running our country. People need to retire! However I definitely support term limits for the House and the Senate.

I strongly support an amendment to permanently set the number of Justices at nine. This would prevent court packing or shrinking to politicize the court. We need to maintain the independance of the Court.

No term limit or age of retirement requirement for justices on SC. Instead, an annual and CONFIDENTIAL competency test for mental acuity for EACH justice, with a follow-up conversation on the results. Any sudden decline in test results (unless a temporary health issue is present) would be a reason for the justice to self-monitor and/or consider retirement. I don't think any judge would want to be remembered for continuing in office with obvious signs of mental debilitation, although it's obvious to everyone that there are other ELECTED officials that are CLEARLY in denial of their mental and/or physical impairments! Age should not be the deciding factor; compentency must be.

I feel like the justices on the Supreme Court should have the position as it is now, without term limits. Until we put term limits on Congress, this should not even be a topic of discussion.

This is the wrong question to ask. Before we think about term limits, we need to KEEP NINE justices with a Constitutional amendment. What is the NFRW membership polling on that?

Why are you not asking do you support the Keep Nine amendment to ban Supreme Court packing???
