I don't know if I support the bill, because I don't know what is in it. If Democrats wrote the bill, I doubt that it would be good for the USA.

I do not support any bills that deal with more than one issue. They are combined to force one party to vote for something they oppose in order to pass another part of the legislation. In this case, democrats know that many in the GOP do not favor more aid to Ukraine, so it's combined with aid to Israel to force the GOP to approve the aid to Ukraine. Both parties do it. I'd love to see a law prohibiting the practice..

I would agree to supporting Israel. But the Dems want to add Ukraine, so it’s an all or nothing deal. When it too fails, they’ll blame the Republicans for not supporting Israel. No-win situation.

Ukraine is using our taxpayer money to pay salaries and retirement benefits and lots more that they should pay for themselves. We need a complete audit of where our money is being spent. Israel on the other hand needs our continued support because they are a valued ally and should be fully supported.

I am against any further funding to Ukraine. We are funding their government and pensions, and there is no accountability. I would be open to a stand alone bill for aid to Israel (our only real ally in the Middle East).

This needs to be two separate funding packages, not combined together. Ukraine has had a lot of US funding without any accountability. I think we need to fund our alley, Israel separately as a stand alone bill.

We need to concentrate on protecting our border, especially keeping out young men of military age, from countries like China who are not our friends. Countries closer to Ukraine can pick up the slack in funding Ukraine. Other countries can contribute more to Israel.

Absolutely YES! We must help Ukraine. We cannot let Putin win. The world (China and Iran, specifically) is watching. The world balance of power is in jeopardy, and we must not become isolationists. We should always stand with Israel, too. They are our strongest ally in the Mideast. And, of course we need to defend our southern border and keep illegal immigrants from flooding our country. The bill had a lot of things that the Republicans wanted, but it was not everything. In a democratic, bipartisan country we must compromise.
