I am old fashioned and still prefer the two traditional organizations: Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America. Even today, there are times when boys need to gather with other boys and girls need to gather with other girls.

As a former Girl Scout as well as a Girl Scout Troop Leader & a Cub Scout Den Mother, I believe there are many benefits to having separate Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Boys and Girls of this age tend to have different interests, and are self-conscious about their bodies during puberty. Part of scouts is Day Camps and overnight camps, and the scouts are more comfortable with and benefit from single-sex organizations.

We are all sad at the slow, deliberate changes the Boy Scouts have made. Changing their name will make them honest to who they have become. ...a diluted, once-focused on raising leaders of integrity and acheiving excellence, to, so focused on gender and the temporary status of a human being that it loses all sense of moral integrity.

Growing up in Canada, I was a Canadian Girl Guide and became a Leader. I also served as an Assistant Leader in the Brownies and also as an Assistant Cub Master. I am saddened to see a great organization give in to the woke agenda. The Boy Scouts have, like many other organizations, had problems over the years but at this point, BSA should just dissolve. They are no longer relevant. I am so sad it has come to this.

I think, as a tomboy and female, I would've benefitted from this greatly. Lucky, I had male children for whom I attend cub scouts and boy scouts and I learned so many skills with. I am greatly thankful for the men of the world, as they can teach us many things and I'm more grateful for having them as husbands, fathers and teachers within our own homes.

My only fear for mixing the 2 sexes, is pedo and molestation. But that doesn't make me feel like the scouts should not include den females. It makes me think, ppl should not have pedo thoughts or actions. Children are not play toys.

There are different activities for girl scouts and boy scouts. Keep them separate.
