I live in a state that has legalized marijuana, TRUST ME you DO NOT want this to be nation wide. In this town i call the drivers 3D drivers, they are DISTRACTED, DRUNK OR DRUGGED. It has become a nightmare to try and navigate among theses drivers.

I am against legalized marijuana for recreational purposes because I have known of some casual smokers who moved to harder drugs.

If you have ever had a family member or friend involved with drugs, they almost always began smoking marijuana . Please do not allow this to be unleashed nationwide. Ask those in California and Colorado, plus other states, how legalizing marijuana has worked out for them with increased traffic accidents, hospitalization, etc.

My husband, a Marine Officer, while in Vietnam, told me that the enemy blew up a bridge in the middle of the night and when they investigated, they found the guards all dead with their throats slit. They were were so high on marijuana that they never knew that the Vietcong were in the bunker. It was quite difficult to write the parents of these Marines as to how their loved ones died. Marijuana is deadly!

Under NO circumstances should Marijuana "regulations" be expanded. I was in the waiting room at the hospital the other day sitting beside a "transportation" Orderly who worked at the hospital; young black man, and the subject of "drugs" came up, I asked him about the "new" Marijuana I heard on Laura Ingraham show (I am over 70) causing hallucinations. He said it was true and if you go to a place (like gas station) it is actually NOT Marijuana it is synthetic substance which says on the pack NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. Between the "synthetic" drugs being called Marijuana and deaths caused by fentanyl, and so called MEDICAL Marijuana our Country is being destoyed and the next generation of children are damaged in their teens. I am just grateful my sons are grown men also agree.

I am seeing people comment about marijuana legalization in their states and how terrible it has been. I am in OK. and the way it was written here was not good. However, Biden's proposal is not to legalize it in the sense that most states have legalized it even for medical use. In his proposal it is changing the national classification from a 1 to a II (2) type drug.. If this is done, then the marijuana can be dispensed by any pharmacy in the US but not any other route and because it would be dispensed that way there would be much better control of it. Quality, Quantity and it would have to be prescribed just as a narcotic. Although I do not support President Biden and he has been a sorry president, because the election is coming up he is changing his stance on many things, like the boarder, but whether he will follow through is a big IF>
