Absolutely! The Ten Commandments are not only the principles that our founding fathers built this country upon, but a fitting reminder for the next generation of Americans. Honestly, whether a student/parent personally believes in those principles is irrelevant - God, was, is, and always will be righteous and just and those truths will never change!

I endorse every word Margie Palmer (6/21) offered on the need for The 10 Commandments to be posted in every classroom! It should be a point of reference available to every child every day of their education. The absolute truth of God's love and His Commandments are the most important lessons one can learn.

No, I do not support a requirement to have the Ten Commandments posted in every public school. While I would have no objections to a short, non-denominational prayer to begin the day, anything religious that goes beyond that is risky. I believe this will end up at the Supreme Court which will rule it unconstitutional. Keep in mind that if excerpts from the Bible are used, excerpts from the Quran will have to be permitted as well. We don't want a "religious war" occurring on the walls of our schools.

I struggle with this. I am a Christian, but there is such a thing as separation between church and state. I don't believe in forcing Christianity on people. There are better ways than displaying the Ten Commandants especially since our country is so very diverse now.

Hmmmm…...this is a really tough one. We need to look at the various Supreme Court decisions over the years but most of them have been quite devisive -- that is, in some cases the Court ruled the display violated the "Establishment Clause"; in other cases the display did not. What seems to be the most important issue here is " does the display constitute primarily a religious

to finish my previous post: Does the display constitute primarily a religious purpose, or could it be an historical perspective. If it is mainly for a religious purpose, then if seems to clearly violate the Establishment Clause. My opinion is that this Louisiana law will be one of those "bait" or "test" cases, similar to Plessy v. Ferguson.

NO -- we must honor separation of church and state. We cannot selectively apply the Constitution. Let's direct all our efforts to ensuring that the American flag is displayed in every classroom.

We have misconstrued what our forefathers meant..they did not mean to literally separate church and state (which is what our country has done). The very foundation of our country was based on Christianity. So, yes..display those 10 commandments!!! Even if they weren't given to us by God, they are still good values to apply throughout our lives regardless of religion..

This Louisiana law, in my opinion, will be another "bait" or "test" case along the lines of Plessy v. Ferguson.

Five Nights at Freddy's is truly a masterpiece in the horror genre. The creativity in the design of the animatronics and the way they move keeps the player on their toes, never knowing what will happen next.

It is a complex and sensitive issue, and there are valid arguments on both sides.

Last semester, I faced a challenging nursing homework assignment that seemed overwhelming. I turned to a service that specialized in nursing homework assignments, and it was a game changer. They provided expert guidance, helped me structure my work, and even offered valuable insights. With their support, I not only completed the assignment on time but also gained a deeper understanding of the subject. It truly boosted my confidence!
